Instructions for Lucia Bread (Advent Bread)
To prepare the Lucia Bread (Advent Bread) recipe, please follow these instructions:
Melt butter and mix with milk. Warm the mixture up until it is lukewarm (37 streets (C)). Crumble the yeast into a bowl and mix with a little of the lukewarm liquid. Pipes for the yeast is dissolved. Stir in crushed saffron in, sugar and beaten egg together. Mix then wheat flour in (save a little flour to rollout) and knead until you get a smooth and supple dough.

Take the dough out on a floured and knead it thoroughly. Add if necessary. the rest of the flour. Portion dough into 10 pieces. Roll the dough into finger-thick sausages and form as an S and garnish with raisins. Two or more can be crossed.
