Ingredients for Lamingtons
Desiccated coconut | ||
1 | tsp | Vanilla sugar |
2 | tbsp | Butter |
2 | dl | Sugar |
2.5 | dl | Wheat flour |
3 | Eggs | |
3 | tsp | Baking soda |
3 | tbsp | Cocoa |
3 | tbsp | Melted butter |
350 | g | Icing sugar |
6 | tbsp | Boiling water |
Instructions for Lamingtons
To prepare the Lamingtons recipe, please follow these instructions:
In a bowl Mix flour, sugar, eggs and melted butter. Whip it all in 3 minutes and add the baking soda.
Behind in a square shape (the cake must be approx. 5 cm high when finished) at 190 degrees in 15-20 my.
When the cake is cold, cut it into approximately 8 x 8 cm pieces.
Then you mix butter with cocoa and boiling water and add powdered sugar and vanilla sugar.
Cake soaked completely in the mixture and rolled the dice in the desiccated coconut-set to "dry" in ½ hour before they are ready.
