2Medium-sized leeks
2tbspOil
2tbspDry sherry or sake
200gBamboo shoots (from canned)
4stemsLeaf celery
500gLean trimmed Pork fillet
500gSquash

To prepare the Japanese pork sauté with ginger recipe, please follow these instructions:

Cut the meat into very thin slices (2-3 mm). Stir the marinade together. Clean the fresh vegetables and cut them well. Cut the bamboo shoots into strips. Heat the oil in a wok. Brown the meat slices with good heat with constant stirring approx. 2 minutes. Take the meat up. Season the porridge and celery with good heat approx. 2 minutes with constant stirring. Lay squash and bamboo shoots into the pan and turn 1 minute more. Put the meat back into the pan and pour the marinade over. Stir through and let the dish sautere for a few minutes under cover. Serve the sauté with loose rice.
