1 | Egg yolk | |
2 | dl | Lukewarm water |
2 | tsp | Salt |
2 | tbsp | Water |
3 | Eggs | |
4 | tsp | Sugar |
50 | g | Yeast |
500 | g | Wheat flour |
Instructions for Israeli party bread
To prepare the Israeli party bread recipe, please follow these instructions:
The yeast is crumbled and diluted with 1 dl. Of the water in the dough plate. Add the rest of the water, sugar, salt, egg and most of the flour. Work the dough well through. It must be smooth and smooth. Add more flour gradually.
Put the dough to the heap, covered and loose, approx. 45 minutes.
Slice the dough easily and let it rise for another 15 minutes.
Put the dough on a fairly light meal table. Divide it into 3 servings, each rolling at 50 cm. Merge the lengths and bend the ends under the bread. Put the bread on a plate with baking paper and let it rise for approx. 30 minutes.
The egg yolk is whipped with water and the bread is brushed with it. Bake on the second slice in preheated oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes. Dip the heat to 175 and continue baking approx. 30 minutes.
Cool on the grid.
