The margarine is stirred softly, the sugar is sprinkled, the whole egg is added - one at a time. Milk, baking soda and vanilla are sifted together and mixed in. Finally, the milk is stirred. The apples are rinsed, dried and divided. The cousin is cut away. They are cut into small pieces and mixed in the dough together with the scalloped, dripped raisins. The dough is filled in a butter-lubricated, flour-stretched sand cake form, put in a cold oven and baked for 1 hour at 185 °.
