To prepare the Caramel rim with cream ice cream recipe, please follow these instructions:
The sugar is browned to caramel and an edge shaped with some of the caramel. The rest of the caramel is boiled with water while stirring to a thick syrup that is cooled. Mix in the whipped cream just prior to serving. The eggs are easily whipped together with sugar and milk and the mixture is poured before pouring into the edge shape. Bake in a water bath in the oven approx. 1 hour at 125 degrees C.
