Grated nutmeg
1Orange grated to thereof
1.5tspSalt
100gGrahams
2tbspHoney
2tbspCooking oil
200gFintreven raw beetroot
3dlWater
400gWheat flour
50gYeast
50gCoarsely chopped Walnut kernels

Instructions for Beetroot bread

To prepare the Beetroot bread recipe, please follow these instructions:

Flour, salt, red beets, walnuts, orange zest and nutmeg mix in a bowl.

In another bowl mix the lukewarm water with oil and honey, and yeast dissolved in it.

The liquid is poured into the melblandingen, and the dough is kneaded until it is smooth and elastic. Made to uplift in ca. 1/2 time until it is swollen to twice the size.

The dough is kneaded again and formed into a round loaf of bread, which is placed on a baking sheet. Lunt to be made after the uplift in about 20 minutes.

There is cut a cross in the bread, which bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees for approx. ca. 1/2 time.
