500 | g | Lean beef into cubes |
8-9 | dl | Boiling water |

To prepare the Beef Steak and Kidney Pie (Kidneypie) recipe, please follow these instructions:
Set of kidneys in soft in cold salt water, approximately 15 min, and then cut them into slices. Then pour the corn oil in a skillet and Brown beef, onions, and carrots. Add water and spices and simmer for an hour. Add the kidneys, and smooth the sauce with corn flour dissolved in water (jævning). Pour it all in a spacious form/serving dish, cover it with bread crumbs, and bake so the whole lot in 35-40 minutes in a medium hot oven. (175-200 degrees)
Tips:
You can use dough instead of bread crumbs.
