Instructions for American (flapjack) pancakes
To prepare the American (flapjack) pancakes recipe, please follow these instructions:
The eggs are whipped together in a bowl, for a light and airy mass. Sieve flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in and stir the dough evenly. It is important that the flour is not processed too much as pancakes will be cool. Melt the butter and stir it together with the buttermilk.
Melt a little butter on a pan, ice 1/2 dl. Dough on the forehead and behind it until the edges look starting to dry out and bubbles are formed on the surface. Turn the pancakes and put them on the other side. Bake the pancakes at medium temperature, otherwise they will not be passed.
serving:
Stack them and serve the warm with fried maple syrup and stir butter.
