Ingredients for American Bagels
0.5 | dl | Syrup, light |
1.5 | tbsp | Salt |
2 | tbsp | Oil |
2 | tbsp | Sugar |
5 | dl | Water |
50 | g | Yeast |
900 | g | Wheat flour |
Instructions for American Bagels
To prepare the American Bagels recipe, please follow these instructions:
Stir the yeast into the lukewarm water, add the other ingredients and knead the dough to make it smooth and spicy. Let the dough rest approx. 15 min. Under a piece of plastic / cloth.
Divide the dough into 16 pieces, roll them into 25-30 cm sausages. Each piece is formed into a ring - use possibly. Some water in the collection. Let them raise about 30 min. A warm place.
Before finishing, add a ½ spoonful of water to boil and cook the rings - a couple of at a time - approx. 2 min. On each side, put them on baking paper and decorate them with sesame seeds, birch or grated cheese after taste.
Bake at 200 degrees C. alm. Oven for approx. 30 min. And cooled on the grate.
