Cut the margarine into smaller pieces and add flour and sugar. Spread the crumb with your fingers in a bowl. The dough must not hang together as it must be crumbled over the apples. Peel the apples, remove the kernel and cut the apples into thin boats. Bring them to an ovenproof dish.
