Instructions for Sweet Snowballs
To prepare the Sweet Snowballs recipe, please follow these instructions:
First of all, in cut marzipan roll into slices (approximately ½ cm thickness) and nougaten should be cut into small cubes. It takes in a slice of marzipan, nougat cubes at the Center and a scroll marcipanen into a ball with nougat in the middle. Instead of-or together with nougat can be enjoyed.
When al marcipanen is rolled into balls to be the chocolate is melted. This is best done over a water bath, which take a pot and fill it half with water and leave this heat almost to the boiling point. So taking in a bowl that can tolerate the nearly boiling water and put chocolate in it. Set the Bowl caution into the pan with the water – remember it is VERY important that no water comes down to chocolate, as can the risk be gritty. Then the chocolate just be allowed to equally quiet to melt. Take the Bowl out of the water bath and stir gently into the chocolate. Let cool slightly in the next few minutes – however, it must not be rigid, so must the up in the bath again.
Marcipanen is now ready to be coated with chocolate. Demote a fork with a marzipan ball into bowl of chocolate (I do not poke the fork through the ball!) and lower it down into the chocolate, then the ball will be completely covered in chocolate. Lift the fork and bank the caution against the side of the bowl to get the overflædige chocolate to drip off. Put the ball to cool on a plate or platter lined with baking paper. Continue with the remaining balls.
The balls should cool somewhat, but they may not solidify completely, they should be rolled in coconut flakes while the chocolate is still a little soft. It does in by pouring coconut on a plate and use a fork to gently again to trundle the marbles in it. Put the white coconut balls back on the tracing paper and let them harden completely, like a cool place until they are ready for serving. Can possibly. be stored in the refrigerator in a cake tin or a nice glass jar with a lid.
Tips:
The white chocolate can obviously be replaced with dark chocolate-but so similar it is just not true snowballs longer .... but good taste it now anyway. The filling can also be replaced with e.g., raisins, chopped figs or apricots, which are soaked in orange juice or with chopped almonds or walnuts. It is all up to your imagination and taste buds.
