Instructions for Rich gratin
To prepare the Rich gratin recipe, please follow these instructions:
Boil 2 dl. Natural rice in 5 dl. Water added salt about 35 minutes. Peel 1 parsnip and 3 carrots and divide into smaller pieces. Cut 3 stems of blemish in strips. Pil 1-2 red onion and portion in both. Season the vegetables in 2 tablespoons. Oil, season with salt, pepper, 2 tablespoons of crushed garlic and thyme and add freshly chopped parsley. Pour about 3½ dl. Broth or white wine or a mixture at. Let the mixture simmer for about 15 minutes. Mix the vegetables and rice and put it in an ovenproof dish. Melt 50 g. Butter in a saucepan, stir 4 tablespoons flour and spoon with approx. 7 dl. Boiling milk. Add 200 g. Fried chedar and season with salt and pepper.
Pour the cheese sauce over the rice mixture. Place the dish in the oven at 200 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
