To prepare the Onion soup (Trangia) recipe, please follow these instructions:
The onions are soaked in water for approx. 20 minutes. 1 clove of garlic crushed and thoroughly seasoned in the oil. The onions must only be glassy.
Then pour the broth over and simmer for approx. 20 minutes.
The soup is flavored with your spice favorites, or if it's dark then turn off the light and take the chance and use the spice you first put on hand. Either you are a hero or you are sleeping outside the tent.
While putting you around the pot, put a few slices of toast for roasting and sprinkle some fried cheese on the bread or pour the cheese into the pan to fill.
