1 | dl | Orange Marmalade |
1 | kg | Wheat flour |
1 | l | Boiling water |
1 | tbsp | Salt |
1.5 | l | Wholemeal rye flour |
1.5 | dl | Yogurt |
100 | g | Yeast |
Instructions for Juicy citrus bread
To prepare the Juicy citrus bread recipe, please follow these instructions:
Rugmelet came in a bowl and pour the boiling water over. Stir it together well, cover the bowl with a damp Tea towel and let it stand overnight or at least 3 hours.
Stir the yeast into the yogurt and add salt and jam. Stir the mixture together with wheat flour in rugmels and knead it through to a firm dough. Let it raise uncovered 1 hour.
Take the dough out on the table and knead it smooth, then add the evt. a little flour if necessary. Portion dough into 3 equal pieces, form them to bread and put them on sheets with wax paper. Let them raise to they look light and porous out, about 40 minutes.
Bake loaves at 175 degrees at the bottom of the oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let them cool wrapped in linen.
