Ingredients for Ginger cakes
0.5 | tsp | Bicarbonate of soda |
0.5 | tsp | Ground cinnamon |
1 | tsp | Milk |
1 | tsp | Ground ginger |
125 | g | Wheat flour |
2 | tbsp | Light syrup |
25 | g | Butter |
50 | g | Icing sugar |
50 | g | Dark brown sugar |
Instructions for Ginger cakes
To prepare the Ginger cakes recipe, please follow these instructions:
1. Sift flour, soda and spices into a bowl.
2. Pour the butter, syrup and dark brown sugar in a saucepan and heat slowly up until it is melted.
Let it cool and mix it in melblandingen along with the milk.
3. stir it together until you have a firm dough.
If the dough is not stuck together, you can add 1-2 spoonfuls of water.
Pack the dough into the cling film and put it in the fridge for half an hour.
4. take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll the dough out until it is ca. 1/2 cm thick.
Use a glass or the like. to make as many cakes there is room for. (You can also use other shape)
5. Place them on a greased baking sheet in a preheated oven (160 degrees) for about 15 mins, or until golden. Put them to cool on a wire rack.
6. term icing sugar and mix it with a little bit of water. Stir, to gasuren
is thick. Pour the glaze in an icing bag and squeeze small pleter out on cakes.
