Instructions for Ferdinand's pickled

To prepare the Ferdinand's pickled recipe, please follow these instructions:

Clean, Peel and slice the fillets in kryddersilden files and oblique strips. Pour them over with milk and let them stand ½ hour. Pour the milk from and let drip well of herring. Stir the marinade together of tomato puree, tarragon vinegar, finely chopped onion, 1/4 tsp. bumped cloves, crumbled Bay leaves and dried thyme. Pour the marinade over the herring and let it all pulling for the next day.

Tips:
Variation: Add additional marinade 1 small chopped pickled cucumber.
