50 | g | Yeast |
50 | g | Chopped pommerans |
50 | g | Chopped sukat |
75 | g | Raisins |
900-1000 | g | Wheat flour |
Instructions for Decemberbrød
To prepare the Decemberbrød recipe, please follow these instructions:
Milk and butter/margarine in a saucepan lunes ell. microwave oven. Yeast and break into pieces in the hand warm liquid and egg is added. Raisins and sukat pommerans added with sugar and it's all mixed well. Add the spices and flour kneaded/stirred in for a slightly oily dough only just escaping the bowl and the hands. Raises the lunt 45 min and shaped into 2 round loaves. Can also be filled in 2 heart shape or spring shape. Folds with wet hands and sprinkled with Pearl sugar. Raises the bar again approximately 30 min. and bake then at 175 degrees (hot air) or 200 (alm. oven) in about 30 mins.
Tips:
A cosy broke in december. It smells and tastes of Christmas and can stay fresh for days if it is stored in plastic bag in a not too hot.
