1 | Handful chopped dried fruit berberisbær or cranberries currants dates apricots roasted or chopped almonds | |
1 | tbsp | Salt |
15 | The whole letknuste cardamom capsules | |
3 | Cinnamon sticks | |
300 | g | Couscous |
50 | g | Butter |
Instructions for Christmas couscous
To prepare the Christmas couscous recipe, please follow these instructions:
Com everything dry in a bowl, pour boiling water on, for it covers couscoussen with 1 cm. Whip with a whisk, and add either a lid or film over the bowl. Wait for 10 minutes.
If it is too dry, you can give more boiling water.
Couscoussen fluffes up with two forks, while distributing the butter.
Eat hot with lamb, lamb meatballs, chicken or fried vegetables
-throughout the year.
Tips:
You can expand the vegetables to fried Zucchini, fried eggplant slices, baked red peppers and fruit in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Watermelon, ordinary melons, citrus fillets of any sort, apricots and peaches, pears, plums, pomegranate seeds and toasted pistachios are great. You can sprinkle whole lot with sumak, toasted sesame seeds or pumpkin seeds. But whatever you do please think in salthed, balances acidity. And remember the onion, parsley and mint in all combinations, we have fun with to prepare.
