Cream or milk
0.5lWater
1pieceOrange Peel (about 3 x 10 cm)
1tbspFreshly squeezed orange juice
1wholeCinnamon
1.5dlWhipping cream whipped into whipped cream
2bottlesMaltøl (a 33 cl)
350gRye bread without kernels, in slices
85gSugar (about 1 dl)

To prepare the Beer Soup with orange and cinnamon recipe, please follow these instructions:

Cut the bread (with crust) into small cubes. Came the bread in a pan and add water, maltøl, cinnamon and orange peel. Let it soak for about 10 min. Bring mixture to a boil and let it cook over a low heat and under the lid for about 10 min. Whisk from time to time. Add sugar and orange juice. Warm through and taste it to øllebrøden. Remove the cinnamon stick and orange zest before serving.

Tips:
If you want a very smooth beer soup, you can push it through a sieve.
