To prepare the American pancakes with blueberries recipe, please follow these instructions:
The eggs are shared.
The egg yolks are whipped thoroughly with buttermilk and lemon peel. Mix the flour with baking soda. Flour, sugar and salt are sifted into the milk mixture. Stir thoroughly, but not for long.
The egg whites are whipped stiff and turned into the dough. Let the dough rest a quarter of time in the refrigerator.
Warm a good thickened pan up. Melt a good lump of butter and behind small thick pancakes, - there should be approx. 3 on the forehead at a time. The pancakes must be baked in butter and not saved!
Keep the finished pancakes warm in the oven at 100 degrees C. alm. Oven while baking the portion.
They are served warm with maple syrup and blueberries.
