Instructions for American muffin basic recipe

To prepare the American muffin basic recipe recipe, please follow these instructions:

Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, vanilla sugar and salt well together.
Whip egg, milk and oil approx. 1 min. May be airy.
Stir the egg mixture into the flour mixture until it is uniform.

Distribute the dough into molds and fill them approx. 3/4 on.

Bake in the middle of the oven 20-25 min. At 200 degrees C. alm. oven. Small muffins approx. 15 min.

tips:
Chocolate muffins:
Replace 50 grams of flour with 50 grams of cocoa and put a large piece of chocolate in the dough and squeeze it a little into the cake. The chocolate must not reach the bottom of the mold, it will sink when baked.

Muffins with berries:
Use approx. 100 gr. Blueberries or raspberries per. portion. All kinds of berries can be used, also frozen.

Marble Muffins:
Make a batch of basic recipe and a batch of chocolate recipe. Put ½ of each in shape, they mix themselves.

Try to vary the basic recipe.

Use silicone molds, then remove muffins as soon as they come out of the oven. If they easily fall out of shape, they are finished.
