125gButter
175gWheat flour
2tbspSour cream 18%
2tbspCorn flour cornstarch
25gAlmonds, peeled
500gCherries, fresh sweet

Instructions for American Cherry Pie

To prepare the American Cherry Pie recipe, please follow these instructions:

Crumble the butter in the flour. Add sugar, cinnamon and cream fry and knead the dough lightly. Put the dough in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

Mix cherries, possibly. Sugar and corn starch in a bowl.

Smash and chop almonds roughly.


Roll 3/4 of the dough and cover a pie shape. Distribute cherries into the pie. Sprinkle almonds over.

Roll the rest of the dough out and cut it into narrow strips. Flatten the strips over the filling.

Behind the pie approx. 20 min. At 200 degrees C. alm. Oven on the middle oven pan.

Sprinkle the pie with a little flour just before it is eaten, it can be served hot or cold.
