Ingredients for Zanzibar pudding
1 | Orange, the juice of which | |
1 | tbsp | Lemon juice |
1 | dl | Sherry |
1/4 | tsp | Bumped cloves |
2 | Egg yolks | |
2 | dl | Whipping cream, whipped into foam |
2 | tbsp | Sugar |
4 | Fresh or 8 half, henkogte peaches | |
4 | leaves | Isinglass |
Instructions for Zanzibar pudding
To prepare the Zanzibar pudding recipe, please follow these instructions:
Egg yolks, sugar, cloves, wine and juice are whipped together over low heat or in water bath until it is even and foamy. It must not boil. The house block is soaked 2 min. In cold water, take up and melt in the warm cream. The cream is cooled, stirred softly and mixed with whipped cream just before it stiffens. The budding is filled in a wet form and cooled. It is turned out of the mold by the dish and decorated with fresh peaches that are scalded, rinded, halved and stoned or peached peaches.
