0.5dlCrème fraiche 38%
1Cucumber
1tspMint, dried
1tspSalt
1.5tspLemon juice. freshly squeezed
2tbspOlive oil
3cloveGarlic
4dlPlain yogurt

Instructions for Tzatziki - Greek salad

To prepare the Tzatziki - Greek salad recipe, please follow these instructions:

Peel the cucumber and tear it on the coarse side of a grater.

Put the cucumber in a bowl and sprinkle salt. Stir around and cover with a small dish as pressure. Let the cucumber stand cold for approx. 10 min.

Mix youghurt and creme fraiche. Heel the mixture in a sieve covered with a coffee filter. Leave it for approx. 2 hours or until the mixture is half-thick.

Scrape the yeast mixture out of the filter and place it in a bowl.

Season with slightly crushed garlic, lemon juice, olive oil and possibly. mint.

Pour the cucumber into a slice and let it drip well. Mix the cucumber and yoghurt sauce. Taste and season if necessary more.

Serving suggestions: Olives, radishes, carrots in spelled and coarse or roasted French bread. You can eat tzatziki as an accompaniment to souvlaki, greek grilled sprouts, fried chicken, fried meat or hamburgers.
