Ingredients for Sushi with rice
0.25 | cup | Riseddike |
1.5 | tbsp | Mirin (sweet sake or vermouth) |
2 | cup | Japanese rice (nishiki) thoroughly wash |
2.5 | tsp | Salt |
3.5 | tbsp | Sugar |
4 | cm2 | Konbu (a type of seaweed) dried with a damp cloth |
Instructions for Sushi with rice
To prepare the Sushi with rice recipe, please follow these instructions:
Mix the washed rice with 2 ½ cup of water in a saucepan. Leave it for 30 minutes. Add Konbu and cook with high heat. Cover with lid and turn down the heat. Let it simmer for 10 minutes until the rice has absorbed all the water. Turn down the heat to the lowest extinguisher. Leave it simmer for 5 min. Remove the rice from the flask and leave it for 5 minutes. Pour the rice over and add the vinegar and stir with a slurry with a wooden box. The dish is eaten cooled. It can stand in room temp. For approx. 5 hours before serving.
