Instructions for Rice Apple-Cake

To prepare the Rice Apple-Cake recipe, please follow these instructions:

The rice is boiled in water with a little salt for approx. 30 min. When the apples have cooled, cut into both and the core housing is removed. Finally, the apple boats are cut into slices. The apples are spread in a greased pie shape (about 22 cm in diameter). Atwel is mixed in the flour with vanilla sugar and baking soda. The eggs are whipped together in another bowl. Melt, cooled fat and rice are added. The flour mixture is whipped in the egg mixture a bit at a time, and the dough poured over the apples. The nuts are chopped roughly and distributed on the cake. The cake is baked at 200oC for approx. 40 min. On the middle oven rack. The cake is served lukewarm.

tips:
The cake can be served with 1 tbsp. Cheasy fraiche possibly. Add some vanilla sugar. Instead of boiling rice 200 g. Rice water can be used - see recipe below - This gives the cake a more airy texture.
