To prepare the Potato salad a la mom recipe, please follow these instructions:
The margarine is melted and the sliced onions are exchanged for a few minutes, until they are clear, but not brown. Water and vinegar added. The sliced onions boil tenderly for approx. 2 min. Spices are added.
The potatoes are cut into slices and placed in the pan covered with a tight lid. The potatoes are heated over low heat approx. 10 min. The pot can shake a little in between. Stirring makes the potatoes matte.
