Ingredients for Portersild
1 | tbsp | Crushed allspice |
1 | tbsp | Crushed pepper |
1 | Large minced red onion | |
1.5 | dl | Cooled boiling brine |
1.5 | dl | Sugar |
10 | Crushed cloves | |
2 | dl | Vinegar |
3 | tsp | Salt |
4 | dl | Porter |
600 | g | Fresh herring fillets |
Instructions for Portersild
To prepare the Portersild recipe, please follow these instructions:
Clip the dorsal fin of the herring and roll them together. Put them close in a frying pan, so they keep on each other. Mix cookie sheet and pour it over. Let the warm simmer 5-6 min., until tender, can also be done in microwave 4 minutes at around 420 Watts. Pour væden from, but save 1 ½ dl. Sprinkle the allspice, pepper and cloves over the warm and cool them off. Sprinkle onions over. Stir the boiling brine, vinegar and sugar together until sugar is dissolved and pour over herring.
