0.75 | tsp | Ground coriander |
0.75 | tsp | Ground cumin |
1 | tbsp | Fresh or ¾ teaspoon dried thyme |
1 | tsp | Salt |
1.5 | tsp | Mustard powder |
2 | tbsp | Lemon or lime juice |
2 | tbsp | Cognac |
2 | tsp | Paprika |
4 | clove | Garlic, finely chopped |
4 | Large or 8 small chicken wings | |
5 | Bay leaves, crushed |

To prepare the Hotwings - Hot wings recipe, please follow these instructions:
Heat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. oven.
Crush the bay leaves into powder in a mortar, add the bowl of seeds, cayenne pepper, coriander, cumin, garlic, mustard, peppers, thyme and salt and knead it for 10 minutes. Can also be broken in a kitchen machine or blender. Add cognac and lemon juice or lime juice and mix it together into a thick paste.
Grease the wings with the herbal paste. Lay the wings on a baking sheet and back until they are dark brown and crisp, approx. 30-35 minutes. - Voila!
Served if required. With lots of rice and bread.
