To prepare the Hearts in cream sauce 02 recipe, please follow these instructions:
The hearts are cut into strips, then carefully cleaned and all tendons and blood are removed, rinsed well and dried off in a piece of kitchen roll. The margarine is melted and the pieces are put in it when the pieces are browned, spoon with the bouillon and the cream so it covers the heartpieces, the spices are added and the whole slices for approx. 1 ¾ - 2 hours or until the meat has reached an appropriate tender texture. In the end, flour and milk are smoothed into a consistency that may be as it hangs on the mashed potatoes.
The homemade mashed potatoes that are a must for this dish are made from boiled potatoes that are mashed with an old-fashioned moss so there are lumps in the bog, then add approx. 1 DL. Milk and approx. 50 g. Butter. It is cooked with salt, garlic powder, pepper and a splash of nutmeg.
