Ingredients for Falaffel
1 | tsp | Bicarbonate of soda |
1 | Large bdt. parsley | |
100 | g | Sambal oelek |
1000 | g | Chickpeas |
2 | Large onion | |
30 | g | Falaffel Spice (premixed) |
40 | g | Salt |
Instructions for Falaffel
To prepare the Falaffel recipe, please follow these instructions:
put the chickpeas to soak overnight. Rinse them thoroughly in cold water, and let them afdryppe.
Chop the chickpeas, onion, parsley in meat mincer, and add the spices, chilli and bicarbonate of soda.
mix everything, add 3.5 dl. water.
REMEMBER: under no circumstances should the chickpeas are cooked.
Let stuffing rest for a few hours.
Form small buns of forcemeat, and cook them in abundant and hot oil.
Tips:
Falaffel is very suitable for freezing. Since this portion provides approximately 100 paragraph falaffel, one will probably get use to this. We can rule out the parsley and onion, and instead use 2 whole cleaned leeks. You can also mix his falaffelkrydderi even as follows: 35 g. cilantro 10 g. cumin 5 g. turmeric 5 g. allspice
