1 | tbsp | Lemon juice |
100 | g | Melted butter |
150 | g | Dried dates |
2 | dl | Water |
3 | tbsp | Oil |
325 | g | Wheat flour |
Instructions for Date cake
To prepare the Date cake recipe, please follow these instructions:
Filling: Remove the stones from the dates, chopped. Got them in a bowl and mix them with lemon juice. Let it soak while the dough is made.
Dough: in a mixing bowl accepted more easily cooled melted butter. It whipped with water, oil, salt and lemon juice. Baking soda mixed with flour. It's all mixed to a dough.
Portion dough into 30 equal portions. Roll them into buns and press them flat. Put a teaspoon. fill in each. Close them for the filling. Set cakes on baking paper on a ovnplade with joins downwards. Press each with an easy pattern with a fork.
Bake in a preheated oven 175 degrees 22-25 minutes, until they are lightly golden. Allow to cool on rack. Serve with dusting of sifted powdered sugar
