Instructions for Creamed hvidkålbudding
To prepare the Creamed hvidkålbudding recipe, please follow these instructions:
White kålens outer leaves and the stalk is removed. Coarsely chop the cabbage and boil for 20 minutes in salted water. White cabbage is poured into a sieve, and boiling water are saved. The cabbage be layered with forcemeat in a greased ovenproof dish. Start with dad's and ending with cabbage. Bread crumbs sprinkled over and dabs of butter/margarine spread over. Pudding bake for 1 hour at 160 degrees. Prepare a light sauce of kålvand, flour and milk. The gravy season with grated nutmeg. Kålbuddingen is served with pillekartofler.
