Ingredients for Caramel corn
0.5 | dl | Light syrup |
0.5 | tsp | Bicarbonate of soda |
0.5 | dl | Oil |
1 | tsp | Salt |
1 | tsp | Vanilla |
125 | g | Butter |
250 | g | Brown sugar |
50 | g | Upoppede corn |
Instructions for Caramel corn
To prepare the Caramel corn recipe, please follow these instructions:
Pop corn in ½ dl. oil. Remote upoppede corn. Put the popped corn in a large baking dish or roasting pan.
Melt sugar, butter, salt and syrup in a saucepan until the paste is smooth and bubbly. Let the mass simmer and bubble for about 5 minutes.
Remove the Pan from the heat and add soda and vanilla quickly. Now will the mixture foam. Pour immediately over the popkornene. Stir gently around, so that the grains will be covered, and set roasting pan into a 150 deg C hot oven for 15 minutes.
Stir well in popkornene and behind them in another 5 minutes. Wide caramel grains out on a piece of foil, greased with butter and let them cool. Keep up the good candy in an airtight Tin.
