Ingredients for Banana cake with coconut glass

1.25 | dl | Buttermilk (plain milk can be used) |
150 | g | Grated coconut |
150 | g | Butter |
150 | g | Sugar |
2 | tsp | Bicarbonate of soda |
2 | tsp | Vanilla |
3 | tbsp | Wheat flour |
4 | Eggs | |
5 | Ripe bananas | |
50 | g | Oatmeal |
6 | tbsp | Cream |
Instructions for Banana cake with coconut glass
To prepare the Banana cake with coconut glass recipe, please follow these instructions:
1. Whipped the melted butter with sugar in a bowl.
2. Add the eggs one at a time.
Add the bananas and put them in the bowl with the oatmeal.
4. Pour the buttermilk in.
5. Mix flour, soda, vanilla and salt together and stir the whole in the dough.
6. Bring the dough into an greased approx. 40x40 cm frying pan.
7. Bake in a preheated oven for approx. 20 minutes at 200 degrees (180 degrees if hot air)
The glaze: All ingredients are mixed together in a pan and heated under stirring. Let the mass get a boil and gently spread it evenly over the hot cake.
When the icing is evenly distributed, place the cake back in the oven and bake for approx. 15 minutes until the coconut glass is golden brown.
The cake is taken out and cooled until the coconut mass is solidified.
tips:
I baked the cake without egg and buttermilk, due to lack of this. It worked fine and the cake tasted amazing. TIP! If you are having trouble lubricating the icing on the cake without destroying the cake's surface, use a cheesecake that is dipped in boiling water. This makes the glaze far easier to spread :-)
