Instructions for Almond cake I
To prepare the Almond cake I recipe, please follow these instructions:
Mandler food processes for consistency like grits, stale dates added to it hangs together in a big lump and one fears for their food processor. Not too many dates, as the bottom becomes too sweet and partly too sticky. The bottom is frozen to give consistency until 15-30 minutes before eating.
The bottom is covered with sliced fruit, such as bananas, strawberries, peaches, nectarines, etc.
Overtaken with, for example, cashew cream (but almond or macadamia cream is also wonderful):
Cashews are blended with freshly squeezed orange juice and the seeds from a half-rod vanilla. To give different taste and color, add frozen berries. Strawberries are brilliant, forest berry mix gives a really sexy color, raspberries give more consistency due to the small 'kernels'. Blueberries are pure luxury.
