Instructions for Spinach pie with fillodej
To prepare the Spinach pie with fillodej recipe, please follow these instructions:
Rinse the fresh spinach thoroughly and cook with mild heat until the leaves fall apart. It is sufficient for the moisture that hangs on the leaves after they are flushed. It is cooled and chopped and is therefore ready for use. The finely chopped spring onions are cooked in a saucepan and cooled as well. Spring onions, spinach, feta, grated cheese, eggs and salt and pepper are stirred together. First fillo sheet is placed in the greased pan (size approx. 25 x 30 cm) with edges hanging over the sides. Brush with oil and continue sheet for sheet until the bottom is laid. The spinach is placed in the frying pan and the sides are folded towards the center. The other half of the sheets are now laid on top of the filling and brushed again one by one with oil. The sides are packed well down the sides of the frying pan. The last layer is brushed with egg and finally sprinkled with birch. The dish is baked at 200 degrees C. alm. Oven for 35-40 minutes.
