Ingredients for Sajomarinated Chicken Chicken
¾ | dl | Mirin (use possibly sweet vermouth) |
¾ | dl | Sake (use possibly dry cinzano) |
¾ | dl | Soy |
10 | Chicken thighs | |
2 | tbsp | Chopped fresh basil |
2 | tsp | Corn flour |
3 | tbsp | Grated fresh ginger |
3 | tbsp | Sugar |

To prepare the Sajomarinated Chicken Chicken recipe, please follow these instructions:
To the sauce mix everything except meat and Maizena in a saucepan and boil approx. ½ minute. But beware: It boils easily!
Øs ¾ dl. Of the sauce into a separate bowl. It will later be used as marinade for the chicken thighs.
Wash the meat, dry the meat and cut the bones and excess fat. Place the meat in the marinade, cover it and refrigerate for at least ½ hour (maximum 8 hours). Grill the meat - first on the skins side - and brush once in a while with the sauce on both sides. Grill chicken meat until it is fully cooked. It takes about a quarter.
Even the rest of the sauce with approx. 2 tsp. Maizena touched in a little water.
Served with rice, vegetables and salad.
