Instructions for Old-fashioned Danish wheat bread
To prepare the Old-fashioned Danish wheat bread recipe, please follow these instructions:
The potatoes are torn on a grater. The yeast is crumbled in the dough dish and stirred with the lukewarm potato water, approx. 35 degrees. The cracked potatoes, the melted, chilled butter, sugar and the 150 grams of wheat flour are added and whipped together until the mixture is cool. The bowl is covered with a twisted cloth and kept cool until the next day - overnight.
Now add salt and the rest of the flour and knead the dough until it is smooth and smooth and release tables and hands. The dough is put in the dish, covered with a damp cloth and set aside for a slight spot for 2 hours. The dough is formed into one or two rounds of bread, put on baking paper or a greased baking sheet and repeats the cover until the loaves have reached a double size, approx. 30 minutes. Bring the bread with water and bake at 200 degrees for approx. 45 minutes or until they are brown and pierced.
