Instructions for Old-fashioned Christmas buns with marcipan
To prepare the Old-fashioned Christmas buns with marcipan recipe, please follow these instructions:
Dough:
Milk, yeast and sugar dissolve. Butter, eggs, cardamom and wheat flour are mixed in. Eaten for 5 minutes. Put in a refrigerator 20 min. Then roll the dough into a square with a thickness of 0.4 cm. The dough is cut into squares of 10x10 cm. At the center of each square, approx. 15-20 g marcipan pulp.
The ends close together towards the center and the balls are put on the plate with the assembly downwards. The balls are raised for 1-1½ hours in a hollow place. After swelling they are brushed with eggs. Bake for approx. 8-10 min. At 220 degrees C. alm. oven. After baking, the balls must cool. Then they decorate with icing and roasted hazelnut flakes.
Marzipan Mass:
Sugar, butter and marcipan are stirred together.
