Marzipan is kneaded with as much yellow and red color, that it looks like an egg yolk, and then rolled into a long sausage.
Uncoloured marzipan rolled in ca. 2 cm. thickness, moisten with a little cold water and are added as a layer around the yellow sausage.
This knocks out now inclined slices, as placed on the sandwich.
