Ingredients for Chestnut cream with chocolate sauce
½ | dl | Cocoa |
½ | tsp | Cinnamon |
½ | canned | Chestnut puree, naturel à 425 g |
1 | dl | Sour cream |
1 | dl | Whipped cream |
1 | tbsp | Butter or margarine |
1-2 | tbsp | Cognac, rum or punsch |
2 | tsp | Vanilla sugar |
3/4 | dl | Sugar |
3/4 | dl | Water |

To prepare the Chestnut cream with chocolate sauce recipe, please follow these instructions:
Mix chestnut puree with sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl and stir in the puree smooth. Add the sour cream a little at a time and stir cinnamon in. Whip the cream stiff and mix it in the puree with light hand. Freeze then chestnut puree in about 2 hours, so it will be good cold. Mix cocoa, sugar, water and fat for chocolate sauce in a saucepan. Let it boil up stirring and then let the sauce get cold. Season to taste with brandy, rum or punsch. Advantage chestnut cream in dessert bowls and serve with chocolate sauce.
