To prepare the The chocolate-beetroot cake recipe, please follow these instructions:

Pack approx. 300 g beets in aluminum foil. Bake them approx. 1½ hours at 180 degrees until they are tender. Unpack and peel them. Sift cocoa, wheat flour, baking soda and salt into the sugar. Stir oil, egg, polenta and red beans. Pour the mixture into a greased, molded form and bag the cake for about 50 minutes.
