Ingredients for Snickers
0.25 | dl | Light syrup |
1 | tbsp | Plus 2 tbsp. water |
1 | dl | Salted peanuts |
1 | tsp | Vanilla extract |
2 | tbsp | Peanut butter |
2 | bags | Milk chocolate flakes |
2 | tbsp | Butter |
3 | dl | Icing sugar |
35 | Bright caramels |
Instructions for Snickers
To prepare the Snickers recipe, please follow these instructions:
Combine at high speed, mix 1 tablespoon of water, syrup, butter, vanilla and peanut butter until creamy. Add slowly flour.
When the mixture has consistency like dough, remove it from the bowl with your hands and push it into a lightly greased 24 x 24 dish. Put in the refrigerator.
Melt the caramels in a small saucepan with 2 tablespoons. Water over low heat.
When the caramels are melted, mix peanuts. Pour the mixture over the chilled nougat into the dish. Let this cool in the refrigerator.
When the chilled mixture is stuck, melt the chocolate over low heat in a water bath or in a microwave that is at the highest heat for 2 minutes. Stir halfway through cooking time.
When the mixture in the dish is solidified, cut them into 10 x 2.5 cm pieces
Put each piece on a fork and deep in melted chocolate. Press the fork against the side of the bowl or pan to knock off the excess chocolate. Then place the pieces on baking paper for cooling at room temperature. It may take several hours, but the bars will look the best in this way. You can speed up the process by placing rods in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Provides around 24 bars.
