Ingredients for Picnic Bread

0.5 | dl | Oat bran |
1 | l | Lukewarm water |
1 | tbsp | Sugar |
1.5 | dl | Cracked wheat kernels |
2 | tbsp | Salt |
2-3 | tbsp | Olive oil |
50 | g | Yeast |
7-8 | dl | Rye flour |
Instructions for Picnic Bread
To prepare the Picnic Bread recipe, please follow these instructions:
Stir the yeast with the sugar and add the lukewarm water. Add salt, oil, kernels, wheat bran and rye flour. Add flour flour slightly at a time until the dough is firm and smooth. Spread the dough well through approx. 15 minutes. Let it raise the cover to double size approx. 45 minutes.
Pour the dough through again, divide it into 2 pieces and form them for round bread decked with doughballs, balls and leaves. Let the loaves raise on baking sheet with baking paper for 30-40 minutes.
Bake bread at 200 degrees for approx. 45 minutes. After approx. 30 minutes brush the breads with eggs whipped with milk or just warm milk.
