Instructions for Pepita Cakes
To prepare the Pepita Cakes recipe, please follow these instructions:
Flour and the other ingredients are well kneaded together. The fat should not be softened, but its normal consistency.
The dough is divided into 7 equal pieces, which are thrown into sausages of about 40 cm long. Each sausage is divided into about 20 pieces. The small pieces are rolled into balls, dipped in egg white and then in the sugar, which is mixed with the chopped nuts.
Bake light brown on the middle groove in the preheated oven at 220 degrees for about 8 minutes. The oven must have the right temperature from the start.
