Ingredients for Nøddebrød I
1 | tbsp | Sugar |
12 | dl | Wheat flour |
1-2 | tsp | Salt |
250 | g | Quark or cottage cheese |
3 | dl | Lukewarm water |
3-4 | dl | Coarsely chopped hazelnuts or walnuts or half of each |
50 | g | Yeast |
Instructions for Nøddebrød I
To prepare the Nøddebrød I recipe, please follow these instructions:
Crumble the yeast into the batter and pour the water over. Stir around until the yeast is dissolved. Add quark, sugar, salt, nuts and most of the flour. Stir and knead it together for a smooth dough. Raises the cover for approx. 45 min. Pour the dough onto a crispy baking table. Eat it possibly. With the rest of the flour and form it for two loaves. Put them on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and let them rise for 30 minutes. Bake in the bottom of the oven at 200º for approx. 40 min. Cooled covered.
