Instructions for Muesli muffins-Diabetic
To prepare the Muesli muffins-Diabetic recipe, please follow these instructions:
Pour müslien up in a bowl and add mini milk. Stir and let stand for approx. 10 min. Add the other ingredients and stir well. Pour the dough up into 8 large muffin cups and bake them in the middle of the oven at 250 degrees for about 10 mins.
Tips:
Variations: cut an Apple into small pieces and turn them in cinnamon before they plug into each muffin before baking. Or you can add dried fruit in less quantity as fx. raisins, cranberries, apricots. Or you can reach approx. ½ TSP. liquid honey on top of each muffin before baking, this amount of honey is so small that a diabetic still well must eat a muffin. These muffins are high-fiber and low-fat and can strongly recommended for diabetics, who are not allowed to eat bread baked by regular wheat flour. White wheat is wholemeal wheat flour with high fiber content, which is painted in a special way that gives a fine white flour that looks and behaves like ordinary wheat flour.
