Instructions for Karlsbadeboller with almonds
To prepare the Karlsbadeboller with almonds recipe, please follow these instructions:
Crumble the yeast in a bowl. Melt the fat into a saucepan, add the milk and let it all turn finger warm, 37 degrees. Pour the lukewarm milk over the yeast and stir until it is dissolved. Whip the eggs together. Bring sugar, salt and eggs and most of the flour into the milk mixture. Work it all together for a smooth dough and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Put the dough on a floured table. Divide it into 25 pieces, shaped into oblong buns. Place the balls on a greased plate. Let the balls rise under a cloth for 20 minutes. Brush them with fried egg and sprinkle with almonds. Bake them at 225 degrees for approx. 5 minutes or until they have a nice color and are pierced. Let them cool on a grid under a cloth.
